You are able to change the name of your CE field, or update the description of this field. To do this, you would click the 3 dots by the side of your CE field and click 'Update':

Here, you are able to amend the name of description of the CE field, for example to 'do not use' if you don't want to use this anymore:

If you wanted to alter the data type, you would need to make a new CE field for this.

Deleting a custom CE field

If you've chosen the wrong data type or no longer want to have certain contact fields on your account, you can request for these to be deleted.

You're unable to delete these as a front-end user and this will require the technical team to delete.

If you would like fields deleting, please first check that these aren't linked with current live forms or a CRM integration. Once confirmed, you can contact our support team on the live chat to request for these to be deleted by providing the custom field name and ID.

The associated ID is the mixture of letters/numbers by the contact field name:
