How to report on a group of emails

How to group emails together and view consolidated reports

If you want to understand how certain types of emails or certain components effect open and click rates, you can tag email campaigns and report on them to show you how they have performed in the past.

For help on managing campaign tags 

Tagging a new campaign 

During the campaigns setup process you will be presented with the option to select tags for the campaign

Tag your campaign appropriately by clicking the + icon in each of the campaign groups. This will expose all available tags.

Once you click Next the tags will be saved alongside the campaign.

Retrospective Tagging

If you wish to go back and tag your previous campaigns to get as much insight as possible, simply go to your campaigns page 

Once you arrive, find the campaigns you wish to Tag, and look for the gift tag icon.

This will open the campaign tagging pop up. Tag your campaign appropriately by clicking the + icon in each of the campaign groups. This will expose all available tags. 

Once you have finished click Save.

NOTE: You may also remove Tags from campaigns using this method.

Reporting on your Campaign Groups

Once you have tagged all your campaigns you may see a consolidated report of all campaigns under specific tags,

From the campaigns page click the Campaign Groups tab,

This will open a page which lists all your campaign groups as tabs across the top of the page.

You can select any of your campaign groups to see the reports on each of the tags within the group.

The Campaign count shows the number of campaigns using that particular tag. All the stats listed are a total of all campaigns using the specific tag,

You can click the View Report button to gain more detail on the tag. 

When the page opens you will see the First Sent  and Last Sent date along with the campaign count.

Under the Send Conditions you will see a list of ALL marketing lists used in the campaigns tagged with the specific tag

Below that you will see a summary of the stats available. Showing the total number sent v total number delivered. You may use the calendar control in the top right to vary the dates. By default the report will show all time.

The E-commerce stats will detail the full ROI from all the users engaging with the campaigns the tag is associated with. You may use the calendar control in the top right to vary the dates. By default the report will show all time.

The Campaign Groups section will detail all of the individual campaigns with the tag applied. You may view specific campaigns by clicking the Report button.

If you feel a particular campaign is Skewing the results you may use the tag icon here to remove the Tag, this will recalculate the results on the page instantly to omit the campaign removed.

Peak Engagement Times shows a summary of the best time of the day/week for engagement, you can use the calendar control to see if this varies based on a particular time frame,

The link report shows all links clicked from all of the emails associated with the Tag

The Engagement Timeline shows the history of the engagement with the tags, you can use the calendar control to vary the length of this time window. By default this will show the last 7 days.

The final section will show a summary of the bounces received, the browsers and devices used to view the emails associated with your tag.
