How to edit an image in a Microsite page

How to edit an image in a Microsite page using the Image Edit Toolbar.

From the left-hand navigation menu, select the 'Microsites' tab.

You will then be presented with a list of all of your existing Microsites. Locate the Microsite containing the Microsite page which holds the image you wish to edit.

Now click the arrow on the right of your Microsite name to reveal the Microsite page/s.

Then select the 'Edit' button on the right of the Microsite page you wish to edit an image within.

This will then open your Microsite page.

Click the image you wish to edit and you will be presented with the Image Edit Toolbar.

The Image Edit Toolbar contains options including; ‘Replace’, ‘Align’, ‘Image Caption’, ‘Remove’, ‘Insert Link’, ‘Display’, ‘Style’, ‘Alternate text’, ‘Change size’ and ‘Advanced Edit’.

  • The 'Replace' icon

Clicking the 'Replace' icon will present you with a target box for you to drag and drop an image that you wish to replace the existing image with within your Microsite page.

Having clicked the 'Replace' icon, if you change your mind and no longer wish to replace the image, simply click the 'Back' button and you will be taken back to the full range of Image Edit Toolbar options.

Within the 'Replace' icon, you also have the ability to replace an image 'By URL'

Selecting the 'By URL' icon will present you with a field to enter the URL of the image that you wish to replace the existing image with within your Microsite page.

Once you have provided the URL of the image you wish to feature within your Microsite page, click the 'Replace' button and the image of the URL provided will replace the previous image featured within your Microsite page.

  • The 'Align' icon

Clicking the 'Align' icon will present you with three alignment options, 'Left Align', 'None' and 'Right Align', for you to choose from to achieve your desired image alignment.

  • The 'Image Caption' icon

Clicking the 'Image Caption' icon will automatically insert an image caption into your Microsite page, you can then edit the text to achieve the image caption you require.

  • The 'Remove' icon

Clicking the 'Remove' icon will remove the selected image from the Microsite page.

  • The 'Insert Link' icon

Clicking the 'Insert Link' icon will present you with a field for you to input the URL you would like the contact to visit if they were to click on your selected image. You also have the option for the image to open your specified URL in a new tab by selecting the checkbox or the text 'Open in new tab'

Once you are happy with the options you have specified, click the 'Insert' button and the image will be updated within your Microsite page.

  • The 'Display' icon

Clicking the 'Display' icon will present you with the two options 'Inline' and 'Break Text' 

  • The 'Style' icon

Clicking the 'Style' icon will present you with three image style options, 'Rounded', 'Bordered' and 'Shadow', for you to choose from to achieve your desired image style.

  • The 'Alternate Text' icon

Clicking the 'Alternate Text' icon will present you with a field for you to specify the text you wish to appear if the image cannot be displayed.

Once you are happy with the 'Alternative Text' you have specified, click the 'Update' button and the image will be updated within your Microsite page.

  • The 'Change Size' icon

Clicking the 'Change Size' icon will present you with fields to specify the pixel 'Width' and 'Height' you desire for your selected image. 

Having clicked the 'Change Size' icon, if you change your mind and no longer wish to change the size of the image, simply click the 'Back' button and you will be taken back to the full range of Image Edit Toolbar options.

The image pixel 'Width' and 'Height' may be limited depending on the space available in the snippet the image features within.

TIP: If you specify only the pixel 'Width' or 'Height' of your selected image, the field left blank will automatically adjust to ensure the image does not become distorted.

Once you are happy with the pixel 'Width' and 'Height' you have specified, click the 'Update' button and the image will be updated within your Microsite page.

  • The 'Advanced Edit' icon

Clicking the 'Advanced Edit' icon will present you with the 'Photo Editor' window, where you can choose from an array of image editing options.

Once you are happy with the changes you have made to your selected image, click the 'Save' button and the image will be updated within your Microsite page.
